Executive Coaching & Development
Executive Coaching is the process of working with leaders to understand and implement their vision within the foundations and structures of short-term challenges and goals. Very few people are able to balance both their vision and short term goals effectively which can lead to personal distress, conflict in key relationships and life frustration. Successful people have the insight and capability to: (1) develop a clear sense of vision, purpose and direction over the long-term; (2) a detailed understanding and commitment to the foundations and structure of this vision in the daily, weekly and monthly challenges and goals; (3) An openness and discipline to regularly scan the horizon and adjust the vision whilst being true to their core values. CONSORTIA has developed its own 360 Assessment Tool using evidence based behavioural indicators of supportive leadership. The 360 degree feedback process draws on data from a range of stakeholders within the work environment including management, peers and subordinates. The 360 degree assessment results in the user receiving individualized feedback and a development plan highlighting various actions to build on strengths and develop areas of improvement within the supportive leadership domain. The key point of difference for CONSORTIA's 360 Leadership Assessment is the focus on integrating feedback from smaller groups of individuals who accurately represent the complex inter-dynamics between the leader and their key work relationships as opposed to broader 'averages' - which are not reflective of the true complexity of interpersonal relationships. By having an intense focused in 360 degree feedback from a smaller number of peers and accurate behavioural items - leaders are able to more fully grasp the impact of their behaviour within the nominated reference group and as such have more clarity and motivation to make realistic behaviour changes quickly and effectively. CONSORTIA provides consultancy services to manage complex people issues. Three of the most common pressures adversely impacting causing distress for people in workplaces are, conflict issues (interpersonal tension within peers or with and management) and organisational change dynamics (restructuring, relocation, downsizing or mergers) and chronic work performance issues (not previously adequately addressed through normal training and feedback processes.
